Parking: A Way of Life: A rollicking documentary that looks at one of New York City’s arcane traditions — the moving of parked vehicles from one side of the street to another during street-sweeping days. The documentary visits every borough and features many New York City characters including Calvin Trillin, and “Gridlock Sam” Schwarz. Through the mundane ritual of parking, the spirit of New York City emerges as vital, indomitable and above all, gloriously human.

Winner of the Best Documentary Award at the 2004 Queens International Film Festival.
